座敷 「徳川」Japanese Room "Tokugawa" COMPLETED

The Tokugawa room is complete. Here are some pictures from the completed project:

The tokonoma (alcove) and kakemono (hanging scroll)

The room is a 9-mat room, decent size; as you can see there is another room off to the right

The chigaidana (staggered shelf)

The garden, veranda, and main shoji

  1. Hello Erik! The tokonoma and the kakemono are fantastic, just like in real life! The view to the garden is so beautiful and very lifelike too. What you did with the lighting is awesome, one can easily think he/she is in Tokugawa room in a real Japanese tea house! This is stunning and fantastic work. I can't wait to see more ;)!!!

    Spectacular as usual. Your work is so incredibly realistic and accurate which I think is harder to achieve in more "modern" styles. your screens are perfect...everything is just perfect!
