Studio #9

A new art studio, 1:12 scale

Everything is scratch-built except for the stool.

And of course a little time spent messing around with some effects. I like this B/W, looks a bit like a 1940s shot of some studio.

This one is cool too.

  1. I love this studio. It is very reminiscent of early twentieth century art studios in Paris. Think Somerset Maugham and his garret.

  2. Hi Eric! Perhaps your new characters can pose here for the painter in his new studio ;)! This studio is so life-like, personally I like the sepia photo more than the B/W.
    Fantastic work as usual!

  3. Hello Erik,
It is terrific. excellent work. The black and white shot reminds me of the old Ray Milland movie, the Uninvited.

  6. Thanks everyone. Neen, that's the effect I was going for. Interstingly, I just saw the French artist (can't remember his name) who makes these amazingly detailed art studios like that, and it makes my work look like play toys.

  7. Ilona and Giac, I like the effects too, they give another perspective. I will have to see the Uninvited. I love Ray Milland.
